Solarpunk Contest Rules and Deadline

Winner Announcement: Due to a big weekend at Word Vancouver, and the fact the panel made their decisions early, we are announcing the winner a couple days early! Congrats to Mehek Naresh for the winning story, “Left Behind.” This story will appear at our Green Reads – Excerpts site soon. Mehek won a $100.00 Amazon gift card for her winning story. See Mehek’s story at Eco-fiction’s Green Reads.

The solarpunk short story and art contests were hosted by Mary Woodbury of Moon Willow Press and Eco-fiction. Claudie Arseneault, author of Viral Airwaves and editor of Wings of Renewal: A Solarpunk Dragon Anthology, and T.X. Watson and Faith Roses Gregory, of Solarpunk Press, judged the final submissions.

This contest ended July 15 at midnight PST. Thanks for your submissions!

Note that our last contest turned into a successful anthology (see Winds of Change), published by Moon Willow Press, 2015, with a thumbs-up by Bill McKibben.

    Hello,

Any word on whether the submissions will end up being compiled into an anthology this time?

    Thanks!
